HIKING IDAHO JIGSAW PUZZLES
The Jigsaw Puzzles are created from the photography of Scott Marchant and include some of Idaho’s most beautiful destinations including Sawtooth Lake, Alice Lake, the Rapid River, and Farley Lake. There are 20 puzzles to choose from in two sizes: 16″ x 20″ with 504 pieces and 20″ x 28″ with 1,000 pieces.

Lake 8,733—sometimes referred to as Lucille Lake—is located near the main crest of the Sawtooth Mountains.The high mountain lake is in a spectacular setting of jagged granite spires, lichen-covered boulders, and dense forest. Lake 8,733 is located 1.6 miles northeast of the well-known Imogene Lake.

The 20-foot wide Window Arch is located in the City of Rocks National Reserve, near the small town of Almo, ID. The arch lies at the end of a short quarter-mile walk where there are spectacular views into the heart of the City of Rocks, known as the “Inner City”.

The 5,300-acre Payette Lake is the iconic backdrop for the city of McCall. This dramatic sunset photograph was captured in late October, 2020.

The placid and beautiful Scenic Creek is found just north of Atlanta in the Sawtooth Wilderness. In late July, poet shooting stars, cinquefoil and other wildflowers are plentiful alongside the creek.

The 11,815-foot Castle Peak is the highest mountain in the White Cloud Mountain range. In late July, sulphur buckwheat, Indian paintbrush and other wildflowers create a beautiful foreground for the towering Castle Peak.

This challenging puzzle is of a summer photograph taken in late July of the beautiful Sawtooth Lake. This puzzle is a bit more challenging than the 504 piece portrait photo of Sawtooth Lake.

The beautiful Farley Lake is located along the eastern perimeter of the Sawtooth Mountains. This photograph was taken in early July when a profusion of wildflowers bloom.

The Pioneer Cabin sits on a high saddle near the main crest of the Pioneer Mountains—Idaho’s second highest mountain range. The two-room cabin, built in 1937 by the Union Pacific Railroad, was used as a backcountry ski hut and is still used today by outdoor enthusiasts.

This challenging puzzle is of a summer photograph taken in late July of the beautiful Sawtooth Lake. The 173-acre lake sits at the base of the massive Alpine Peak (mountain to the left of Sawtooth Lake) and the towering 10,190-foot Mount Regan (distant mountain).

The nearly three-quarter-mile long Alice Lake is located near the main crest of the Sawtooth Mountains. This photo was taken in mid-September when the nearby foliage showcases beautiful fall colors.

The Sawtooth Mountains are certainly one of the crown jewels of Idaho. The spectacular range is highlighted with jagged mountains and hundreds of alpine lakes and creeks. This photo (taken in early July) is one of Toxaway Lake’s main inlet creeks, located west of the lake.

The diminutive and beautiful Lake 8,165 — unnamed lakes are identified by their elevations — is located along the 18-mile loop hike to Alice and Toxaway Lakes. This is a challenging puzzle with its variegated sky and lucid water.

Exposed bluffs, grassy ridges, rocky canyon walls and opportunities to see wildlife make the Rapid River—designated a Wild and Scenic River in 1975—one of the premier river canyon hikes in Idaho. This photo was taken in April.

Beautiful Miner Lake is located in the Smoky Mountains, north of the small town of Ketchum, ID. The lake is tucked in a small U-shaped basin, about a half-mile east of the 10,336-foot Norton Peak. The 4-mile hike to the lake is through dense forest of lodgepole pine and Douglas-fir and meanders through several wildflower-filled meadows.

Access to a beautiful high alpine lake usually requires at least a few miles of hiking. The oblong-shaped Summit Lake, located near the town of McCall, is a rare exception where hikers will find beauty and an effortless walk within minutes of their vehicle. This photo was shot in October when foliage turns bright hues of yellow, orange and red.

Near the western edge of Redfish Lake, you can hike up Redfish Lake Canyon for 3.7 miles to Flatrock Junction. From the junction, another trail leads north through a handful of switchbacks that provide outstanding vistas overlooking the beautiful canyon. This photo was taken in mid-September.
